The London Eye
All the fun of a fairground big wheel, except on a massive scale and in the centre of one the busiest cities in the world.

At 135m, the Merlin Entertainment London Eye (to give it it's full title) is the 6th largest structure in London and the highest that is open to the public.

Step aboard and take in the spectacular views of this wonderful city - each ride will take 30 minutes inside one of 32 futuristic glass pods. You'll be able to see for up to 25 miles in all directions. During the day you can tick off the world famous landmarks you can see, and by night you can simply sit and be dazzled by London twinkling at its finest.

    • It's ok, it's expensive for a ferris wheel. Personally I think it's overpriced

    • My wife took me on the London Eye for my birthday a few years back. We went as the lights were coming on which was terrific. The only problem for me was that being a photographer I couldn't get those amazing shots of London at night because we were constantly moving. I definitely want to go back though because it really was a magical experience.
